The donation, made on September 19, is part of the "2025 Seongsan e-Hope Sharing Project" jointly conducted by Seongsan District and the Emart Changwon Branch. It was organized to deliver warmth to low-income neighbors who are more likely to feel isolated ahead of Chuseok, the nation’s largest holiday. The donated goods were distributed to 85 low-income households in Seongsan District so that everyone could enjoy a bountiful holiday.

Baek Seungju, the branch manager, stated, "Although these are difficult times due to high prices and the economic downturn, we prepared these gifts with care so that all our neighbors can enjoy a joyful and warm Chuseok. We will continue to support vulnerable groups and work together with the local community."

Hong Sunyoung, head of Seongsan District Office, expressed gratitude by saying, "We deeply appreciate Emart Changwon Branch for practicing warm sharing during a time when people may feel even lonelier during the holidays. We will do our best to ensure that these heartfelt gifts are delivered to families in need."

Since 2014, Emart Changwon Branch has signed a partnership agreement with Seongsan District for sharing initiatives and has continued to bring hope and warmth to the local community through various social contribution activities, including the Study Room Makeover Project, Chuseok holiday goods support, and kimchi sharing events.
