This camp was organized as a support project under the 'Gyeonggi-do Peace and Unification Education Promotion Ordinance.' Its aim was to raise awareness of unification among university students as the next generation for unification, and to expand consensus on peace and unification among the youth of Gyeonggi Province.

More than 200 students from Daejin University and other universities in Gyeonggi Province participated in the event, along with international students, adding to the diversity of the program. The camp featured activities such as the 'Unification Golden Bell' quiz for both international and domestic students, a special lecture titled 'Unification is a Coordinate' by Kang Sungjong, President of Shinhan University, and a unification-themed PowerPoint presentation competition.

In particular, the PowerPoint presentation competition selected its topics in line with Gyeonggi Province's unification policy direction.

Through topics such as a peace travel map from the Imjin River to the DMZ, planning a DMZ Youth Peace Festival, a post-unification Gyeonggi Province-Kaesong youth exchange project, and a youth-produced unification YouTube channel, students proposed ways to utilize the symbolic significance of border regions, promote inter-Korean youth exchanges, and leverage cultural and tourism resources. Winners received certificates from the university president as well as generous scholarships.

The judging panel for the presentations included professors from Daejin University who advise the unification club, as well as faculty from major universities in northern Gyeonggi such as Joongbu University, Kyungdong University, and Dongyang University, ensuring expertise and fairness. This also served as an opportunity to foster collaboration among universities in northern Gyeonggi.

A Daejin University student surnamed Kim said, "Through this camp, I was able to think more closely about the issue of unification, and it was meaningful for young people to have the opportunity to voice their opinions directly."

Soh Sungkyu, Vice President of Daejin University, stated, "I hope this peace camp will serve as an opportunity for university students to reflect on their roles as the next generation for unification and to grow as leaders of peace and unification. We will actively support Gyeonggi's youth to stand at the forefront of the path toward peace and unification."
