View original imageThe Gyeonggi-do Lifelong Education Promotion Agency will hold the "K-Culture Festival," a comprehensive cultural event encompassing Korean music, cuisine, and traditional culture, across three sessions on September 20, 21, and 27.
This event, taking place at the Gyeonggi Future Education Paju Campus (formerly Paju English Village), will offer visitors a variety of Korean Wave cultural experiences through distinctive themes such as K-Performance, K-POP, and K-Food.
On the first day (September 20), there will be K-POP cover dance, b-boying, choreo dance performances, as well as a celebratory performance by "1MILLION," a team featured on the entertainment show Street Woman Fighter. On the second day (September 21), performances by Jaurim and Lee Senne will kick off the program, followed by a K-POP-based quiz competition, and stages featuring OST and rock music, among other genres.
On the final day (September 27), the theme will be "K-Food," giving visitors a chance to experience the atmosphere of the Chuseok holiday in advance. Activities for families include making a giant bibimbap and longevity injeolmi, as well as performances of Korean traditional music and pungmulnori, and traditional games such as neolttwigi and jegichagi.
More than 40 experience programs, including K-Drama acting, K-POP vocal training, and making hanji lampshades, will also be available free of charge. In addition, side events will be held, such as a stamp event in collaboration with the Paju Unification Hill Tourist Special Zone, experiences with 12 types of traditional games, and photo booth sessions.

Oh Seok, President of the Gyeonggi-do Lifelong Education Promotion Agency, stated, "The Paju K-Culture Festival is an open cultural festival that anyone in Gyeonggi Province can enjoy and participate in," adding, "We aim to establish it as a new cultural tourism content in northern Gyeonggi."
