Jinhae District Holds Reporting Meeting on Next Year's Major Business Plan and Explores Directions for District Development
Discovering Initiatives That Residents Can Truly Experience
On September 19, the Jinhae District of Changwon Special City, South Gyeongsang Province, held the "2026 Jinhae District Major Business Plan Reporting Meeting" in the district mayor's office.
The meeting was organized to review overall district policies and key issues, and to systematically pursue next year's strategic projects in line with the district administration's direction of "securing solid competitiveness through consistent and stable governance."
On this day, each department head and team leader attended in person to report on their business plans, and under the chairmanship of the district mayor, they engaged in in-depth discussions on feasibility and possible improvements.
In particular, under the 2026 district administration goal of "Everyday Life Today Creates the Future, Jinhae Opens Tomorrow," the district set the following as its main priorities: continuously identifying Jinhae-specific strategic projects, creating and managing the optimal residential environment, realizing changes that residents can truly feel, and building a city where everyone feels safe. The meeting also focused on discovering new initiatives and reviewing implementation directions.
Jinhae District Mayor Jung Hyunseop stated, "This reporting meeting is not just a list of projects, but a process of building tangible achievements that residents can truly experience, based on stable district administration. In 2026, I hope that all departments will take responsibility and implement robust plans so that we can further strengthen our future competitiveness on the foundation of our efforts so far."
