To Be Held at Saemgol Market, Jungang-ro, Uam-ro, and Saeam-ro
Jeongeup City in North Jeolla Province will hold the "2025 Jeongdaun Discount Companion Festival" from September 22 to 26 in the Jeongdaun commercial district to revitalize the local economy.
According to the city on September 19, the event will take place at Saemgol Market, Jungang-ro, Uam-ro, and Saeam-ro. It is part of a nationwide consumer promotion campaign linked to the September Companion Festival hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
During the festival, a variety of events will be held for citizens and tourists visiting the commercial district. Anyone who presents a receipt for purchases of 10,000 won or more can participate in a roulette game for a chance to win various prizes, including Jeongeup Saem Sand and Osaembosaem merchandise.
There will also be hands-on programs such as making gochujang (Korean chili paste), and customers who spend more than 5,000 won will have the opportunity to participate in a prize event. Visitors who subscribe to the Jeongdaun commercial district's social media channels will receive a small gift.
The city expects that this event will help small business owners and consumers enjoy the festivities together and restore vitality to the local economy.
