42 Additional Chargers Installed at 11 Public Parking Lots
Sokcho City in Gangwon Province has signed an agreement with Korea Electric Vehicle Charging Service Co., Ltd. to promote eco-friendly transportation and enhance citizen convenience, resulting in the additional installation of 42 electric vehicle chargers at 11 major public parking lots in the region.

The expansion of electric vehicle chargers in Sokcho City was carried out to proactively respond to the growing demand for charging due to the increase in electric vehicle users, while also providing a stable charging environment.
The newly installed chargers include 33 fast chargers and 9 slow chargers, allowing users to choose according to their driving and usage patterns.
Fast charging offers the convenience of quickly recharging while on the move, while slow charging provides an economical and efficient option for long-term parking.
An official from Sokcho City stated, "With this expansion of charging infrastructure, Sokcho City now has a total of 114 chargers, making it even more convenient for both citizens and tourists to use electric vehicles. We will continue to do our best to expand the adoption of eco-friendly transportation and build the necessary infrastructure."
