Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Kim Jin-tae) announced on September 18 that it will participate in the "Auto Salon Tech Korea 2025," held for three days from the 19th to the 21st at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang City, Gyeonggi Province, and will operate the "Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Promotion Hall."

View original imageThis exhibition, hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and co-organized by Seoul Messe Co., Ltd. and CarTech Co., Ltd., will feature specialized exhibitions covering maintenance, tuning, customizing, and future mobility technologies. In addition, a variety of hands-on programs for general consumers will be offered, ensuring both professionalism and mass appeal.
Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province will jointly operate its promotion hall with research and support organizations such as Hoengseong County, Gangwon Technopark, and the Korea Road Traffic Authority. The province plans to actively support the attraction of outstanding companies and the expansion of sales channels by promoting its future vehicle industry support infrastructure and excellent products from local companies to participating businesses and visitors.
Meanwhile, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province participated in the "Seoul Mobility Show" held in April and received various collaboration proposals from numerous companies in the future vehicle sector. The province also achieved results by securing several sales contracts, leveraging the excellent technological capabilities and product competitiveness of local companies.
Amid nationwide attention, the province has widely promoted the excellence of its future vehicle industry infrastructure and established a bridgehead for local companies to explore overseas expansion opportunities.
