Gwangju Seo-gu celebrated Reading Month by inviting singer Harim to Seobitmaru Library on the 17th for a "Meet the Author Book Concert."
According to Seo-gu on the 18th, the event was organized to highlight that libraries are not just spaces for reading but also open venues where culture and the arts can be enjoyed together. It also aimed to provide residents with opportunities for empathy and communication through books and music.

View original imageDuring the book concert, Harim shared sincere stories about love, work, and music, focusing on his own book, "We All Work for Those We Love." He also delivered a powerful performance by singing his hit songs "Love Is Forgotten by Another Love" and "Incurable Disease" live, deeply resonating with the audience.
A resident who participated in the event said, "The time spent with both books and music was unique and moving," adding, "I hope to see more programs like this at the library in the future."
On the 10th, a special lecture was held featuring forensic scientist Professor Lee Ho. Drawing on his experience of performing autopsies on over 4,000 bodies over the past 30 years, Professor Lee shared insights on the meaning of life learned through death, which strongly resonated with participants.
