Since its establishment in 1998, the company has contributed to revitalizing the local economies of Gyeonggi Province and Gimpo through its technological capabilities and expertise.
This on-site visit was arranged to directly confirm the achievements and challenges of the '4.5-day workweek pilot project' being promoted by the province, and to examine both the productivity of companies and the satisfaction of workers in a balanced manner during the implementation process.
Deputy Governor Kim stated, "Just as a governor prevents overspeeding to ensure passenger safety, the 4.5-day workweek is also an important system that enhances the safety and quality of life for workers. Gyeonggi Province will spare no institutional support to foster labor-management cooperation and will continue to listen closely to voices from the field."
Based on the feedback gathered during the visit, the province plans to further develop and improve the 4.5-day workweek pilot project so that it can simultaneously enhance corporate productivity and improve the quality of life for workers.
Meanwhile, Gyeonggi Province is currently recruiting additional companies to participate in the 4.5-day workweek pilot project from the 15th to the 30th, in order to apply the system to businesses of various industries and sizes.
