12th Gumi Cup National Inclusive Basketball Festival
To Be Held at Yeongsong Hall, Gumi Hyedang School, September 20-21
The Gumi City Basketball Association (President Kim Changhun) announced that the 12th Gumi Cup National Inclusive Basketball Festival, co-hosted by the Gumi City Sports Association for the Disabled (President Kim Jangho) and Gumi Hyedang School (Principal Jeong Hyekyung), will be held over two days from September 20 to 21 at the Yeongsong Hall of Gumi Hyedang School.
Gumi Hyedang School, wishing for the successful hosting of the event, sponsored 200 sports drinks for the participating teams.
This sponsorship is regarded as more than just material support; it is seen as a meaningful first step in cooperation to promote basketball in the region and to expand an inclusive sports culture for both people with and without disabilities.

Kim Changhun, President of the Gumi City Basketball Association, stated, "I hope basketball can become a platform where people of all generations and backgrounds can come together," expressing his intention to provide ongoing support in the future.
The 12th Gumi Cup National Inclusive Basketball Festival is the largest basketball exchange event in the Gumi region where people with and without disabilities participate together. Approximately 200 athletes, including intellectually disabled basketball players from across the country and local recreational basketball club members, will take part in the event.
