Woori Bank Strengthens Win-Win Finance for Mutual Growth with SMEs and Mid-Sized Companies
Signing of “Woori Win-Win Tomorrow Savings” Agreement
Woori Bank announced on September 17 that it has signed the financial industry’s first “Woori Win-Win Tomorrow Savings Financial Business Agreement for SME Mutual Growth” with the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency.
The signing ceremony was held in the Premier Room at Woori Bank’s headquarters, attended by key officials including Jo Hankyo, Executive Director of Human Resources Development at the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, and Bae Yeonsu, Head of Corporate Group at Woori Bank.
The Tomorrow Savings program is a government policy-based savings plan in which companies and employees make joint contributions, designed to encourage long-term employment and help employees at small and medium-sized enterprises and mid-sized companies accumulate significant savings.
Through this agreement, Woori Bank will support a total of 7.2 billion won in contributions over five years to reduce the burden on companies and encourage long-term employment among workers. Companies that enroll in the program and maintain regular payments will receive benefits ranging from a minimum of 600,000 won to a maximum of 2.4 million won for up to 12 months.
The support funds can be applied for when newly enrolling in the Tomorrow Savings program through Woori Bank. Woori Bank will provide up to 600,000 won to companies using its payroll transfer service, and, together with the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, will provide up to 2.4 million won to companies with export and import performance of at least 10,000 US dollars or those using inclusive financial platforms.
