Jeonnam Office of Education Selects August Outstanding Coaches in "Let's Compliment" Campaign

The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 17th that Choi Gilhwan, baseball coach of Hwasun High School, and Paek Baekgi, soccer coach of Gwangyang Jungang Elementary School, were selected as the "August Outstanding Coaches" in the monthly "Let's Compliment" campaign.
Both coaches have prioritized the growth of their students, leading with passion and a strong sense of responsibility. They have earned the trust of their athletes, particularly through their philosophy of integrity and respectful leadership. In addition, they are highly respected by parents and the local community as exemplary coaches.

Participants shared their congratulations, stating, "Thanks to warm-hearted coaches who put students first, trust and pride in school athletic teams are growing."
The "Let's Compliment" campaign plays an important role in spreading a culture of integrity, consideration, and respect within school athletic teams. Each month, outstanding coaches are recognized and encouraged, and their stories are shared with all schools in the province through the "Integrity Daily." This initiative contributes to building a healthy sports culture among students, coaches, and parents.
Superintendent Kim Daejung stated, "The right philosophy and actions of coaches who inspire dreams and hope in student-athletes are most important," adding, "We will continue to expand the 'Let's Compliment' campaign so that coaches of integrity are respected and students can freely develop their skills in a fair environment."
