Next Securities (CEO Kim Seungyeon) announced on the 17th that it has reorganized its technology and security divisions and newly appointed Ko Jaedo as Head of Engineering and Kim Heekyun as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
Ko Jaedo, the newly appointed Head of Engineering, has led large-scale platform development and managed engineering teams at domestic and international financial and tech companies such as Musinsa, KakaoBank, Quotalab, and Endowus. At Next Securities, Ko will oversee technology strategy, new service development, and operational stability, leading efforts to strengthen the company's technological competitiveness.
Kim Heekyun, the new CISO, is an expert with over 20 years of experience in security within the financial and fintech industries. Previously, Kim was responsible for financial security, personal data protection, and the establishment and operation of information security management systems at Viva Republica (Toss) and KB Life Insurance. At Next Securities, Kim will focus on establishing company-wide information security strategies and strengthening security governance, contributing to the stability and reliability essential for retail services.
