According to industry sources on September 17, SK On appointed Thomas Eller, a former Vice President at the German automotive parts company Continental, as its European representative earlier this month.

Vice President Thomas Eller is a sales expert in the automotive industry, having worked at Continental for about 20 years from 2005 until May this year, where he held roles such as Global Head of Sales. Prior to Continental, he worked at Motorola Solutions for approximately five years.

Based in Germany, where major automakers such as BMW and Mercedes-Benz are concentrated, he is expected to oversee local sales, including expanding new orders in the European market and managing client relationships.

With the establishment of the new European representative position, SK On aims to build a "customized cooperation system for local clients" and focus on expanding demand in the European market. Unlike the previous approach, where the headquarters handled all client interactions, this new structure minimizes time differences and physical distance, enabling faster and more efficient responses.

SK On currently operates three plants in Komarom and Ivancsa, Hungary. Increasing the operational rate of these Hungarian plants through new orders to enhance profitability is also considered a key task.

Earlier, in February, SK On established a North American representative position to strengthen its local sales capabilities. Rob Schnell, a sales expert with 30 years of experience in the automotive industry and a background as an engineer, who has collaborated with global automakers such as Ford, General Motors (GM), and Stellantis, is serving as the North American representative.
