Emart Launches Pre-Order Event for Pickled Napa Cabbage... Limited Special Price for 4,000 Boxes
Held from the 18th to the 22nd
10kg of domestic pickled napa cabbage for 27,800 won with event card
'Order Pick' service introduced for in-store pickup, enhancing convenience
Pre-order available for kimchi seasoning for easy kimchi-making
Emart announced on the 17th that it will hold a pre-order event for pickled napa cabbage from the 18th to the 22nd.
With a total of 4,000 boxes available as a limited-time promotion, customers can purchase a 10kg box of domestically produced pickled napa cabbage for 27,800 won, a 5,000 won discount when using an event card. In addition, Emart has introduced the 'Order Pick' service within the Emart application (app) for the first time, enhancing convenience by allowing customers to pre-order limited quantities of pickled napa cabbage without having to rush to the store at opening.
Order Pick is a service that allows customers to pre-order products through the Emart app and then pick them up directly at the store. The limited promotional quantities can be picked up at stores on the 26th and 27th, with 2,000 boxes available each day.
Emart explained that, amid high inflation, it secured summer pickled napa cabbage at the lowest possible prices by planning bulk purchases and direct sourcing from farms six months in advance, so that customers can prepare for holiday kimchi-making at reasonable prices.
For convenient kimchi-making, Emart will also hold a pre-order event for refreshing and clean-tasting Central-style 'kimchi seasoning (4kg)' through Order Pick during the event period. The seasoning will be sold for 34,800 won, a 5,000 won discount when purchased with an event card. The company explained that this amount is sufficient to generously mix with 10kg of pickled napa cabbage.
