The Public Health and Medical Council is a public-private consultative body aimed at advancing community public health and protecting and promoting citizens' health. It provides advice and policy proposals for establishing public health and medical implementation plans and expanding essential medical services.
Hospital directors and representatives from the local medical community in Suncheon participated as council members, discussing ways to strengthen the foundation for cooperation in public health and medical services and sharing information on local healthcare issues.
Suncheon City also announced its plan to systematically promote local healthcare policies by closely linking the upcoming Suncheon Essential Medical Support Foundation, which is scheduled to be established by the end of this year, with the activities of the council.
