This event was organized to easily convey the safety and importance of nuclear power and to enhance understanding of radiation in daily life. During the experience classroom, participants showed great interest in the following programs: the safety and importance of nuclear power, on-site measurement of radiation levels using portable radiation detectors, and a hands-on radiation experience program utilizing the "Radiation TokTok" app.

In particular, learning about real-life examples of radiation exposure and safety management methods provided an opportunity to deepen understanding of nuclear safety.

Moon Giwon, a 65-year-old member of the association who participated in the experience classroom, responded positively, saying, "I feel reassured after directly experiencing radiation measurement, which is not something I usually encounter. I used to have vague thoughts about nuclear power, but I have come to realize that it is actually being managed safely."

Jeong Wonho, head of the headquarters, said, "I hope that by directly checking radiation levels and experiencing radiation in daily life, participants were able to truly appreciate the safety and importance of nuclear power. We will continue to promote various customized programs together with local residents."

Wolseong Nuclear Power Headquarters plans to continue a variety of external public relations activities and safety culture promotion programs to ensure safe and stable operations in the future.
