The commemorative forum, held on the 15th at the Grand Performance Hall of the Jangseong Culture and Arts Center, began with an opening declaration and proceeded with a 30th-anniversary commemorative video, congratulatory remarks, and speeches. The celebratory performance was delivered by "Bit Chumta," who combined traditional content such as large drum performances and fan dances with dazzling LED lighting effects to convey messages of "future" and "hope."
During the vision declaration ceremony, when the host shouted "30 years together," the audience responded with "A future together." At the same time, participants in the ceremony pressed a "button" on the stage screen to display congratulatory images.
The forum was divided into two parts. In the first part, Professor Kang Daejung of Seoul National University delivered a lecture under the theme "Learning, Connecting the World," envisioning the future direction of the community and education. Professor Kang holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in education from Seoul National University and earned his doctorate from the University of Georgia. He previously served as the fifth president of the National Institute for Lifelong Education and is currently a professor in the Department of Education at Seoul National University.
In the second part, singer Sean took the stage. Debuting in 1997 as part of the hip-hop duo Jinusean, Sean has consistently engaged in volunteer work and charitable giving, with his total donations reaching 5.7 billion won, making him a leading celebrity in promoting a culture of giving. To fulfill the dream of basketball player Park Seungil, who passed away after battling Lou Gehrig's disease, Sean established the Seungil Hope Foundation with Park and opened the Seungil Hope Nursing Hospital this year. On this day, Sean spoke on the theme "Sharing, Connecting Love," emphasizing how sharing can change lives and the world.
