Daejeon Neulpureun School Holds "Classroom of Memories" Experiential Learning Program
Recreating Classrooms of the 1960s and 1970s
New students enrolled in the middle school diploma program at Daejeon Neulpureun School participated in an experiential learning activity held in a "classroom of the past," which recreated a typical classroom from the 1960s and 1970s.
On September 15, the Daejeon Lifelong Learning Center organized a "Classroom of Memories" experiential learning session for new students at the Hanbat Education Museum. The students toured various exhibition halls within the museum and had the opportunity to directly observe and experience the evolution of education.
In particular, through this experiential learning activity, participants wore white vintage school uniforms, sat at low desks and chairs, and attended Korean language and science classes, vividly experiencing the educational environment of that era.
This event was designed to help students reflect on the value of learning by comparing educational environments of the past and present, while also boosting their motivation to learn. For those who had to discontinue their studies in childhood due to family circumstances, it was a meaningful occasion that offered a unique cultural experience and unforgettable memories.
