Senior Police Appointments: Five Promoted to Senior Superintendent General, Nine to Superintendent General
The National Police Agency announced on September 12 the appointments of five candidates for promotion to Senior Superintendent General and nine candidates for promotion to Superintendent General.
The candidates for Senior Superintendent General are Han Changhun, Director of the National Police Agency's Public Safety and Traffic Bureau; Park Jeongbo, President of the Korea National Police Human Resources Development Institute; Hwang Changseon, Chief of the Daejeon Metropolitan Police Agency; Eom Seonggyu, Chief of the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Police Agency; and Kim Seonghee, Chief of the Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Police Agency.
The selected candidates for Superintendent General are Gwak Byeongu, Hong Seokgi, Yoo Yunjong, Ko Beomseok, Kim Wontae, Kim Younggeun, Lee Jongwon, Choi Bohyeon, and Kim Jongcheol, all of whom currently hold the rank of Senior Superintendent.
