'A Safe Holiday Without Gas Accidents'... Gyeonggi Province Conducts Gas Safety Inspection Training
Gyeonggi Province conducted "safety inspection training" on September 12 for 62 caretakers from the Happy Village Management Centers, ahead of the Chuseok holiday period when gas usage typically increases.
This training was organized in collaboration with the Korea Gas Safety Corporation to help the caretakers develop on-site inspection skills closely related to residents' daily lives, thereby preventing safety accidents in households using LPG in the region.
The main topics covered in the training included: ▲ guidelines for gas boiler safety inspections ▲ methods for checking gas range connection points ▲ inspection of external pipes and hoses, as well as other daily safety rules.

In addition to the training for caretakers, Gyeonggi Province also plans to conduct joint gas safety inspections for vulnerable groups, including elderly people living alone, in cooperation with the Korea Gas Safety Corporation.
On September 11, a joint inspection was carried out for vulnerable households in the Byeongjeom 1-dong area of Hwaseong City.
