OCI Holds Second Half 'Partner Safety Meeting'... "Serious Accident Prevention"
CEO-Led Partner Safety Meeting Held
OCI announced on September 11 that it held the "2025 Second Half Partner Safety Meeting" at its Gunsan plant to strengthen the prevention of serious accidents and promote mutual cooperation.
OCI has recently been intensifying its preventive activities to eradicate serious accidents and, to explore various countermeasures for preventing such incidents together with partner company representatives, held this CEO-led partner safety meeting for the second half of the year. OCI organizes CEO-led partner safety meetings every half-year, and this second half meeting included a "Workshop to Strengthen Partner Safety Capabilities for Serious Accident Prevention."
The event was attended by OCI Vice Chairman and CEO Kim Yushin, Chief Safety and Environment Officer (CSEO) Jung Seungyong, OCI Group executives and employees, and representatives from over 110 partner companies. The program proceeded in the following order: ▲ Workshop to Strengthen Partner Safety Capabilities for Serious Accident Prevention ▲ Status of Support for Establishing Partner Safety and Health Management Systems ▲ CEO Safety Message.
Participants reviewed new safety management methods, such as managing high-risk factors for serious accident prevention, through the "Workshop to Strengthen Partner Safety Capabilities for Serious Accident Prevention," and discussed and explored safety measures for key high-risk tasks at workplaces.
Additionally, the current status of support for establishing safety and health management systems for partner companies was shared. Since the first half of this year, OCI has been providing tailored programs to help partners establish safety and health management systems required by the Serious Accident Punishment Act, and plans to conduct a final inspection by the end of this month, followed by training to address any deficiencies.
