On September 4, Lee Seungwoo, Deputy Manager at Daejeon Urban Corporation, was honored with a commendation from the Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office at the 8th Intellectual Property Day ceremony, hosted by the National Intellectual Property Committee at L Tower in Seoul.
This annual event aims to enhance public understanding and interest in the creation, protection, and utilization of intellectual property, and to boost the morale and pride of those in the intellectual property field by recognizing individuals and organizations that have contributed to the advancement of intellectual property.
Lee Seungwoo, Deputy Manager at the Environmental Bio Business Division of the corporation, received this commendation in recognition of his acquisition of a patent (No. 10-2779933) for nitrogen removal using food waste leachate as a carbon source, as well as his contributions to improving public environmental awareness through the stable operation of environmental infrastructure facilities.
