"To the World, To the Future" 2025 Wonju Innovation Festa to Be Held from September 18 to 20
Innovation Megabox, Haengbok Madang, and Korea Tourism Organization Area
The 2025 Wonju Innovation Festa, co-hosted by the Wonju Innovation City Merchants Association, Korea Tourism Organization, and Gangwon Innovation Development Support Center, will be held from September 18 to 20 for three days, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. each day, at the Innovation Megabox, Haengbok Madang, and Korea Tourism Organization area.
This year's event has expanded in scale compared to last year's Wonju Innovation Beer Festival and Korea Tourism Organization World Festa, which collaborated to create a larger festival. More than 110 booths will be set up, including food and experience booths as well as public institution promotional booths.
In addition, there will be performances by local art groups, public institution clubs, and professional teams, along with the 'Innovation Aesalda' relay busking, part of the Cultural Innovation City Development Project, and public institution on-the-go busking performances.
Furthermore, a variety of events will be held to engage with visitors, including Blue Marble (a board game), lucky boxes, and SNS photo certification. In particular, reusable cups will be available for free rental, and visitors who bring their own reusable containers will receive a 500-won discount coupon, making this a festival that aligns with sustainable (ESG) management practices.
