Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Ahn Gwiryung stated in a briefing at the Yongsan presidential office on September 8, "(Chief Kang) said that the housing supply measures announced yesterday should not end with simply building houses, but should create new living spaces. He pointed out that building homes without considering commuting has led to a vicious cycle of resident hardship and distrust in policy," she relayed. Chief Kang particularly emphasized the need to improve accessibility to public transportation networks, such as railways.

He went on to reiterate that 'Hallyu 4.0' is the driving force behind cultural growth. Spokesperson Kang said, "(Chief Kang) noted that as K-pop, dramas, and films gain attention, the number of foreign tourists is increasing, and content is driving people and connecting local economies." She added, "He called on each ministry to pool their wisdom so that the momentum of Hallyu 4.0 can be leveraged to expand cultural exchange and translate it into tangible economic outcomes."
