View original imageThis event was part of the "Gijang Social Welfare Week" (September 1-12), which is being held to commemorate the 26th Social Welfare Day (September 7). The event was co-hosted by Gijang County and the Gijang County branch of the Busan Social Workers Association.
Mayor Jung Jongbok personally visited social welfare facilities to encourage workers and listen to feedback from the field.
On this day, Mayor Jung held a tea meeting with facility directors and staff, sharing difficulties and discussing ways to cooperate in order to create a welfare city where all county residents can be happy.
Mayor Jung Jongbok stated, "I express my deep gratitude and respect to the social welfare workers who quietly dedicate themselves to improving community welfare," and added, "We will actively support further advancement of Gijang County's welfare services."
