When the police attempted to conduct an inspection, one of the men, identified as Mr. A, a man in his twenties covered in tattoos, kicked off his slippers and started to run away.
The police pursued Mr. A for about 200 meters and saw him enter a nearby building. They called for backup and searched the building. During the search, they discovered traces of blood on the fifth floor and apprehended Mr. A near the elevator on the same floor. It was reported that Mr. A, who had sustained abrasions on the soles of his feet while fleeing, did not offer significant resistance at the time of arrest.
After checking his identity, the police found that Mr. A was listed as a wanted suspect for two violent crimes, including assault.
Previously, on September 3, the mobile patrol unit had also apprehended a man in his forties in Suyeong District, who was wanted for a total of ten cases, including fraud, based on a resident's report.
