In particular, reflecting Honorary Chairman Baek Sung Hak's wish to promote the health and sports culture of Hongcheon residents and to see the land used as a hiking trail, the donated land will be developed as a forest recreation facility to improve the quality of life for local residents.
The donated land is adjacent to the Namsan hiking trail and Namsan Forest Park, both of which are popular among residents, creating a strong connection with existing facilities.
Hongcheon County plans to integrate the donated land with existing forest recreation facilities, renovate the hiking trails and forest amenities, and expand various facilities to ensure residents can use them safely and comfortably.
Through these efforts, the Namsan area will be revitalized as a representative space for relaxation and health promotion for local residents.
