Gwangyang Free Economic Zone Authority Visits Chinese Overseas Investment Service Center and Distribution Company for Investment Consultations

The Gwangyang Free Economic Zone Authority (headed by Director Koo Chungon, hereinafter referred to as the Gwangyang Free Economic Zone Authority) announced that on September 4, it visited the Overseas Investment Comprehensive Service Center in Guangzhou, China, as well as Hemaiheda Group, the largest importer of personal hygiene products in China, to conduct investment attraction activities.
The Overseas Investment Comprehensive Service Center provides one-stop services for Chinese Belt and Road Initiative and overseas investment companies, including investment project registration, policy consultation, finance, and taxation. The center has accumulated a high level of recognition and expertise in the field of overseas investment.

View original imageDuring his visit to the Comprehensive Service Center, Director Koo Chungon of the Gwangyang Free Economic Zone Authority stated, "The Gwangyang Bay Area is the region with the most active Chinese corporate investment, and it is well-equipped with industrial infrastructure and a favorable living environment." He added, "We request that companies interested in overseas investment visit our region and consider investment opportunities."
Xu Wei, Head of the International Department at the Comprehensive Service Center, remarked, "We have a positive impression of South Korea's stable investment environment and the industrial development of the Gwangyang Bay Area. We will actively cooperate in promoting the Gwangyang Bay Area, jointly holding investment briefings, and establishing a strategic business partnership."
Following the visit to the center, the delegation also visited Hemaiheda Group, China's largest global distributor of personal care and hygiene products, and held a tea meeting with Chairman Gong Zheng.
Hemaiheda Group is a global distributor that imports personal hygiene products such as shampoo, detergent, body wash, and tissues from major countries including Europe, the United States, South Korea, and Japan, and sells them in the Chinese market. The company supplies over 1,000 products to approximately 40,000 stores.
