S-OIL announced on September 5 that, as part of its efforts to build a sustainable supply chain through mutual growth with partner companies, it invited more than 500 representatives from partner firms to briefing sessions held in Seoul and Ulsan. The sessions took place twice, on September 2 and 4.

View original imageDuring these sessions, S-OIL shared information with its partners on purchasing procedures, the electronic procurement system (e-Procurement), policies and procedures to strengthen supply chain ESG management, as well as requirements for cybersecurity and compliance. The sessions also provided an opportunity for direct communication between S-OIL’s purchasing staff and partner company representatives.
Based on the principles of flexibility, innovation, and trust, S-OIL is building a sustainable supply chain together with its partners, even amid rapidly changing market conditions. The company is also consistently running a variety of win-win programs to enhance the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management capabilities of its partners, such as supporting ESG self-assessment and evaluation, as well as providing scholarships for children of partner company employees in the Ulsan region.
