We will continue to innovate and take on challenges amid change and crisis, striving to become a university that our nation and society need, and to stand tall on the global stage."
Since its establishment in 2004, DGIST has positioned itself as the nation's only institution integrating education and research. In particular, since launching its first undergraduate program in 2014, DGIST has proven its capabilities in interdisciplinary education. The recent appointment of three of its first undergraduate graduates as professors at major domestic universities demonstrates the outstanding results of DGIST's unique approach to convergence education. Furthermore, in the 2026 QS World University Rankings, DGIST ranked fourth globally and first in Korea in the 'number of citations per faculty' category, earning international recognition for its research excellence.
