YGPA Hosts Expert Training on Arctic Route Policy Response
Strengthening Capabilities in Maritime, Port, and Logistics
Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (YGPA, Acting President Hwang Hakbeom) announced on September 4 that it held a training session on September 3 at the company headquarters' international conference room for about 150 employees and Gwangyang Port officials to enhance understanding of the Arctic Route policy, a new national agenda of the current administration.
The training invited three experts: Yang Jin-ho, YGPA Port Committee member and policy advisor on the Arctic Route, Lee Myungho, team leader at Polaris Shipping, and Kim Geunseob, director at the Korea Maritime Institute.
