Jinan County to Hold 'Emotional Night Walk' Moonlight Walk Event on September 6

A 4-Kilometer Route from Jinan Central Elementary School to the Ecological Wetland Center

Jinan County in North Jeolla Province announced on September 3 that it will hold the 'Sinaburo Healing Trail' emotional night walk event, 'Moonlight Walk,' on September 6.

This event is being organized as part of the Western Inland Tourism Promotion Project, with Jinan County as the host and Jinan Plateau Trail as the organizer.

The 'Moonlight Walk' program will cover a 4-kilometer section, starting from Jinan Central Elementary School and following the Jinan Stream to the Ecological Wetland Center.

Participants will walk through the night scenery of the plateau with panoramic views of Maisan Mountain, making unforgettable memories. The event is designed as a family-friendly program where people of all ages, from children to seniors, can walk together and enjoy the experience.

This year, a special 'healing lunchbox' made with Jinan's clean highland agricultural products will be provided to the first 600 participants. A satisfaction survey will also be conducted among those who try the lunchbox, and the results will be reflected in future program operations.

After the walk, a variety of side events will enhance the emotional experience, including a jazz performance and a local food sharing event, which are expected to increase participant satisfaction.

This event is being held for the first time in three years since the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, more than 600 people participated through on-site registration, receiving an enthusiastic response. The high rate of repeat participation has established 'Moonlight Walk' as a signature nighttime tourism program in Jinan County.
