KOPLE is a global community formed around international students and exchange students residing in Korea, and serves as an exchange platform connecting regional culture and tourism in Korea. With over 2,000 members, it is a specialized company that plans and operates trips to more than 40 small cities across the country.
With this agreement, Hwasun County aims to go beyond simple tourism and create a new global tourism model that serves as a venue for communication between the local community and the world.
The eight KOPLE executives who participated in the agreement stayed in Hwasun for three days, exploring local attractions and actively working on building the platform by planning global tourism products for Hwasun. They also agreed to collaborate on producing foreign language tour guides and conducting promotional and marketing activities. In particular, a one-night, two-day travel package to Hwasun for foreigners is scheduled to be launched in mid-October.
