Gangjin Cinema Surpasses 12,000 Visitors in Just Four Months Since Opening
Gangjin Cinema in Jeollanam-do has established itself as a new cultural space for local residents, attracting a total of approximately 12,000 visitors within just four months since its opening on April 17.
According to Gangjin County on September 2, the county has implemented various discount events to promote the cinema. Since June, they have operated the "Movie Day" event, offering a 50% discount on admission, and from July, they introduced the "2+1 Event" to attract families and groups of friends.
In August, more than 2,700 people participated in the popular "1,000-Won Movie" program, which was launched after the cinema was selected for the "Movie Ticket Support Project." The "Movie Day" with a 50% discount for county residents will continue on September 6.

A county official stated, "We are grateful to the many residents who have visited in such a short period of time," adding, "We will continue to offer a variety of programs and benefits to make the cinema an accessible cultural space for everyone."
