Siheung City to Renovate Sihwa Lake Seawall Bicycle Path
3.8 km Section to Be Repaved and Repainted
Bicycle Traffic Restricted from September 8 to 19
Siheung City in Gyeonggi Province will renovate the bicycle path on the Sihwa Lake seawall.
On September 2, Siheung City announced that it will carry out maintenance work on the Sihwa Lake seawall bicycle path to create a safer environment for cyclists.
The maintenance will cover a 3.8-kilometer section from the entrance of the seawall to the city boundary, including repaving the worn-out road and repainting the lane markings. As a result, bicycle traffic on this section will be restricted for 12 days, from September 8 to September 19.

During the construction period, the city will provide detour guidance and implement safety management measures to prevent accidents. In addition, on-site management will be strengthened to minimize inconvenience, especially in anticipation of increased weekend bicycle use.
