On September 2, Gwangju City announced the public recruitment of the "National AI Computing Center Gwangju Citizen Committee." This recruitment follows the launch of the "National AI Computing Center Gwangju Hosting Committee" the previous day and aims to spread enthusiasm for the bid nationwide.
Citizens can easily apply to join the committee by verifying their identity on the Gwangju City website. The application path is: Gwangju City website → Information by Field → Industry & Economy → Gwangju's Industry → National AI Computing Center.
Citizens participating as committee members will take on roles such as: ▲ raising awareness of the need to attract the center through everyday networks including family, neighbors, and acquaintances ▲ participating in and spreading online and offline support petitions ▲ promoting the initiative externally.
The city especially plans to conduct a citywide online petition campaign to unite citizens' aspirations for the bid and further expand consensus through shared participation.
