The Wonju Climate Change Promotion Center in Wonju City has welcomed over 40,000 visitors in the six months since its reopening in March, establishing itself as a key hub for public outreach on climate change response and the transition to a carbon-neutral society.

View original imageThe center is equipped with a permanent exhibition hall, a special exhibition hall, a 4D theater, and a small library. It offers programs such as carbon neutrality experiences for children and teenagers, environmental education for citizens, and seasonal special exhibitions, helping visitors understand the climate crisis and encouraging practical action in daily life.
In addition, the center plans to operate a promotional booth at the '2025 Gangwon Green Expo,' which will be held from September 5 to 7 at the Bomnae Gymnasium in Chuncheon City. The booth will showcase carbon neutrality strategies and policies, examples of Carbon Neutrality Support Center operations, an introduction to the Wonju Climate Change Promotion Center, and citizen-participation experience programs.
