View original imageAt the first plenary session, council members proposed several ordinance bills, including: ▲"Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on the Operation of Gapyeong County Council Sessions" (sponsored by Assemblyman Kim Jongseong), ▲"Ordinance on Public Relations for Gapyeong County Council" (sponsored by Assemblywoman Lee Jinok), ▲"Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on Service of Local Public Officials of Gapyeong County Council" (sponsored by Assemblyman Yang Jaeseong), ▲"Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on the Installation and Operation of the Gapyeong County Internet System" (sponsored by Assemblyman Choi Wonjung), and ▲"Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on the Operation of Agricultural and Fisheries Subsidies in Gapyeong County" (sponsored by Assemblyman Choi Jeongyong). In addition, the county governor submitted: ▲six budget-related items, including the "2025 Second Supplementary General and Other Special Account Revenue and Expenditure Budget Bill," ▲16 ordinance bills, including the "Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on the Operation of the Gapyeong County Participatory Budget System," ▲six consent items, such as the "Private Consignment Agreement for the Gapyeong County Childcare Support Center," ▲a report on the "Abolition of the Administrative Council Regulations for Toll Support for the Seoul-Chuncheon Expressway in the Chuncheon Area," and ▲two items seeking the council's opinion, including the "2030 Gapyeong County Management Plan Revision." Explanations for these proposals were presented.
In particular, the "Consent for Local Tax Reduction Following the Declaration of a Special Disaster Area," submitted by the county governor, was approved as originally proposed at this first plenary session to ensure prompt support for residents affected by flood damage.
From September 2 to 10, the Special Budget and Accounts Committee will review the following: ▲"2025 Second Supplementary General and Other Special Account Revenue and Expenditure Budget Bill," ▲"2025 Second Supplementary Waterworks Special Account Revenue and Expenditure Budget Bill," ▲"2025 Second Supplementary Sewerage Special Account Revenue and Expenditure Budget Bill," ▲"2025 Gapyeong County Fund Operation Plan Amendment," ▲"2025 Expenditure Budget Contribution Plan (Gapyeong County Talent Development Foundation Contribution)," and ▲"2025 Second Occasional Gapyeong County Public Property Management Plan."

We will ensure that urgent items for supporting flood-affected residents are promptly reviewed and approved so that timely assistance can be provided."
