Kang Junhyun: "We Will Deliver Results on Sejong City Council Disciplinary Petition That Citizens Can Accept"
The Democratic Party of Korea's Sejong City Chapter (Chairman: National Assemblyman Kang Junhyun) recently held an operations committee meeting to discuss the party's official stance regarding a disciplinary petition submitted to the Ethics Tribunal concerning a Sejong City Council member.
The operations committee first expressed regret that details related to the disciplinary petition had been leaked to the public during the ongoing process. In particular, the committee acknowledged the gravity of falling short of citizens' expectations and established three consistent standards to be applied without exception: a zero-tolerance policy, thorough investigation, and prompt action.
The operations committee resolved to implement the following: ▲Zero-tolerance policy: No exceptions will be made in cases confirmed as ethical violations. ▲Thorough investigation: The facts will be clearly established through the Ethics Tribunal’s transparent and objective procedures. ▲Prompt action: Follow-up measures based on the investigation results will be executed without delay.
