It operates 120 round trips per day between Cheonghak-ri in Byeollae-myeon and Seokgye Station in Seongbuk-gu, serving as a means of transportation for local residents. However, at the beginning of the route's operation, diesel buses from surplus fleets in other regions were used, leading to continuous complaints about noise and vibration.
To address these issues, the city is gradually replacing the vehicles with eco-friendly options such as electric buses and CNG buses from August 29 to September 15. This initiative is expected not only to reduce air pollution but also to provide a more pleasant riding environment.
In particular, to prevent potential increases in intervals between buses due to electric bus charging times, the city held active discussions with Seoul City and increased the approved number of vehicles from 15 to 16.
