Gyeonggi Education Office Selects Outstanding Cases of Proactive Administration and Exemplary Public Officials
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has selected five outstanding cases of proactive administration and twelve exemplary public officials.
On September 1, the provincial office announced that, out of 63 cases of proactive administration and exemplary public officials submitted in the first half of this year, the Proactive Administration Committee-composed of external experts and internal members-had finalized five outstanding cases and twelve exemplary public officials.
The five outstanding cases of proactive administration are as follows: ▲ Addressing the care gap for special education students during school vacations (Jung Joonam, Special Education Division) ▲ Improving quality through integrated bidding for the design and construction of school facilities (Kang Taehwa, School Establishment Division) ▲ Overcoming the crisis of overcrowded care in new towns (Lee Seungkwon, Gimpo Education Support Office) ▲ Creating digital-based future classrooms and recycling resources (Lee Cheolmin, Bucheon-dong Elementary School) ▲ Developing an app for the digital transformation of school administration (Kim Jaeun, Hyangnam Elementary School).
The provincial office also selected twelve exemplary public officials. These individuals will receive commendations from the superintendent, monetary rewards, and preferential treatment in personnel matters. The provincial office plans to share these cases of proactive administration and exemplary public officials with all affiliated organizations.
