The "Safe Workplace Project" is a campaign conducted simultaneously and intensively in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions, aiming to establish a safety community across these areas. The campaign focuses on promoting compliance with the five major types of serious industrial accidents-falls, collisions, entrapments, fires, explosions, and suffocation-as well as the 12 core safety rules.
In particular, since 60% of serious industrial accidents that occurred last year were due to falls, entrapments, and collisions, the campaign is placing special emphasis on prevention activities related to these types of accidents.
To prevent the five major types of serious industrial accidents commonly seen in developing countries, the Yangsan Branch has assigned dedicated inspectors to 535 high-risk workplaces and construction sites in Yangsan, Gimhae, and Miryang. These inspectors are establishing a constant communication system and conducting unannounced inspections.
