The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced the successful candidates of the 2025 second round of elementary, middle, and high school equivalency exams on its official website on August 29.
A total of 786 people took the exam, with 633 passing, resulting in an overall pass rate of 80.5%. By level, 54 people took the elementary school equivalency exam and 41 passed (75.9%), while 101 took the middle school equivalency exam and 79 passed (78.2%).
For the high school equivalency exam, 631 people took the test and 513 passed (81.3%). The oldest successful candidates were Ms. Park (74, female) for elementary, Mr. Song (76) for middle, and Ms. Ko (78, female) for high school, all of whom passed despite being over 70 years old.
The list of successful candidates and individual scores can be checked on the provincial education office website until September 5, and certificates of passing will be sent by mail. Certificates of passing, transcripts, and subject-specific certificates can be issued using a joint authentication certificate through the 'NAIS Public Service' and 'Government24' platforms.

They can also be obtained at administrative offices of elementary, middle, and high schools nationwide, civil service offices at education offices, and unmanned civil service certificate issuance machines at administrative welfare centers.
