Geumsan Forum Held to Design the Future of Geumsan Agriculture
Presentation of Agricultural Policies and the Need for Green Bio Projects
A forum aimed at regional and agricultural development was held in Geumsan County, Chungcheongnam-do, with participation from residents representing various sectors of the community.
The 25th Geumsan Forum, hosted by the Geumsan Forum Agricultural Development Committee (Chairman Kim Youngsoo), was held on the 2nd floor of the main conference room at the Geumsan County Agricultural Technology Center on the 27th, under the theme "Designing the Future of Geumsan Agriculture."
The event was moderated by Yoo Sooyoung, Planning Director of the Geumsan Forum, and attended by Park Beomin, Governor of Geumsan County; Kim Hotek, Chairman of the Geumsan Forum; Kim Youngsoo, Chairman of the Geumsan Forum Agricultural Development Committee; Kim Minkyu, Professor at the Department of Animal Resources and Life Science at Chungnam National University; as well as heads of agricultural organizations in Geumsan County.
Kim Changshik, Head of the Agricultural Policy Division at Geumsan County Office, presented the county's agricultural policies, while Professor Kim Minkyu discussed the need to introduce green bio projects in the ginseng and medicinal herbs sector in Geumsan County, receiving a strong response from attendees.
Following this, Chairman Kim Youngsoo led a discussion as moderator, providing an opportunity for the heads of agricultural organizations in Geumsan County to share their suggestions and opinions on the development of agriculture in the region.
Chairman Kim Hotek stated, "We hope that many agricultural policies will be established through this forum," adding, "We will continue to make significant efforts within the forum for the regional and agricultural development of Geumsan County."
