View original imageActor Joo Jinmo recorded a hole-in-one while filming a golf YouTube video and received a high-end luxury watch as a prize, Hi Sigan, the Korea Watch Exchange, announced on August 28.
On June 30, Joo Jinmo appeared on the YouTube channel "Byun Kisoo Golf TV," which was filmed at a golf course in Sangju, North Gyeongsang Province. He achieved a hole-in-one on the 7th hole using a 9-iron. This was the first hole-in-one ever recorded by a guest on the channel. As an event prize, Joo Jinmo received a Rolex Submariner watch worth 27 million won.

On August 26, Joo Jinmo attended a hole-in-one ceremony at the Hi Sigan store in Apgujeong, Seoul, where he received his prize. He said, "I am very happy to have received such unexpected luck in golf, a sport I enjoy." Hi Sigan CEO Ji Sungshik commented, "Honestly, I didn't expect anyone to make a hole-in-one. I was delighted to present the event prize to actor Joo Jinmo for his impressive achievement," adding jokingly, "We're debating whether to give an ultra-luxury watch like Patek Philippe or just quietly finish with a box of golf balls for the next hole-in-one winner."
