Samsung Electronics to Equip 2025 TVs and Monitors with Microsoft's AI 'Copilot'
Expanding AI TV Features: Voice Interaction
From Comfort and Conversation to Learning Support
Ongoing Collaboration with Global AI Companies
Samsung Electronics will equip its 2025 model TVs and monitors with Microsoft (MS)'s generative AI, 'Copilot'.
Following the recent integration of an enhanced 'Bixby' into the 'Click to Search' feature on its 2025 AI TVs, Samsung Electronics is further expanding the role of Samsung AI screens through the addition of Copilot.
Copilot, installed on the 2025 model TVs and monitors, enables voice-based interactions to provide information related to content, support learning through conversations, and offer comfort and empathy to users through natural daily dialogue.
For example, users can engage in everyday conversations such as "Find me something to help me feel better after a breakup" or "Is the weather good for hiking in Jung-gu, Seoul on Saturday?" In addition, personalized experiences are possible, such as requesting, "Help me improve my foreign language skills through conversations with you."

Equipping TVs with Copilot is the result of close collaboration with Microsoft, and through open AI partnerships, we aim to set a new standard for AI TVs."
David Washington, General Manager of AI Partners at Microsoft, commented, "Through our collaboration with Samsung, a leader in innovative displays, TVs have evolved beyond simple viewing devices to become platforms for discovering content, asking questions, and sharing daily life. Copilot on Samsung TVs is an AI companion that accompanies users in their everyday lives."
