Ohheim & Company Establishes Furniture Business Headquarters... Strengthening Competitiveness with Appointment of Lee Jooyoung as Head
Ohheim & Company has reorganized its existing furniture business division into a headquarters system and has recruited Executive Director Lee Jooyoung, who previously held key positions at Hanssem and Dongwha Enterprise, as the new head of the division. With this organizational restructuring, the Furniture Business Headquarters will now integrate core functions such as sales operations, R&D, marketing, and supply chain management, establishing a comprehensive system that covers every stage from product planning and development to customer service.
The newly established headquarters plans to significantly strengthen design and development capabilities within the existing business division, leading product design and technology development that align with the identity of each furniture brand owned by Ohheim & Company. Through this, the company has presented a vision to establish differentiated strategies for each brand while simultaneously enhancing consumer experience and market competitiveness.
Head of Headquarters Lee Jooyoung began his career in 1999 as a product planning MD at Hanssem's Development Department and later served as Head of the Design Center at Dongwha Enterprise, developing expertise in product design and planning. He then oversaw OEM and ODM development in the mattress and sleep products sector, further expanding his commercialization capabilities and market insight.
Lee's extensive experience and expertise are expected to serve as a key driving force in realizing Ohheim & Company's goal of a "fully integrated business structure spanning from product planning to customer experience." In particular, the company plans to accelerate B2C product development based on major brand assets such as Joyworks and Ladygagu, while simultaneously launching new brands and expanding its market presence. He will be responsible for targeting a diverse range of consumers across the furniture, lifestyle, and sleep portfolios and translating this into sales performance.
Meanwhile, as its first investment since the acquisition, Ohheim & Company has secured a site near Suwon Station, which will be operated as a base equipped with both a furniture showroom and a small-scale logistics center. This space will serve as a collaborative hub where the major brands of Joyworks and Ohheim & Company converge, functioning as a complex base for exhibition, sales, and logistics. Through this, the company plans to broaden consumer touchpoints and, leveraging brand synergy, drive new product development, increase sales, and strengthen competitiveness in the furniture business.
