Hamyang County Collects Photos and Videos of Rain Damage for Use as Basic Data in Preventive Measures
Analysis of Each Affected Area
Based on Damage Photos Provided by Residents
Hamyang County in South Gyeongsang Province announced on August 26 that it is collecting photos and videos taken by residents in order to accurately assess the damage caused by recent heavy rains and to carry out thorough disaster recovery projects.
The purpose of this photo collection is to visually confirm the damage situations that officials could not directly check on-site through photos or videos taken by residents themselves, and to use them as basic data for disaster recovery projects and the establishment of preventive measures.
Photos can be submitted throughout the year. Residents can visit their local township or town office and submit either the original files or printed copies along with a brief explanation of the photo location and details of the damage.
