On August 25 (local time), U.S. President Donald Trump stated that he would "meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un at some point."
At an executive order signing ceremony held at the White House that day, President Trump responded to reporters' questions by saying, "In fact, I am looking forward to meeting with Chairman Kim," expressing his expectations.
He said, "I have a very good relationship with Chairman Kim," and added, "Someday, I will see him again." He continued, "We have held two summits and got along very well," and remarked, "I know him better than anyone, except for his sister."
